The Cleanstar Aerolite is a 1400 watt backpack vacuum that also works as a blower. It weighs 4.3 kg (Cleanstar's figure), carries its load on a harness rather than the operator's arm, and runs on a 15 metre cord.

Why a Backpack Vacuum
A backpack puts the motor and collection on the operator's back, so there is no machine to drag up stairs, around seating or through a vehicle. The operator moves once and the vacuum comes with them. On stairwells and fixed seating that is the difference between a one-person job and a two-trip job.
The blower function covers the other end of the job: clearing leaves and debris from entries, clearing debris from between seating rows, or moving dust out of corners before vacuuming.

Filtration
Cleanstar describes the Aerolite as having HEPA filtration and supplies it with a cloth filter bag and a paper dust bag (Cleanstar lists the dust bag as AF500S). Use the paper bag for fine dust: it keeps the cloth bag and HEPA filter clean for longer.
Cleanstar does not publish a filter efficiency test standard or dust class for this model. If a job specification (for example methamphetamine decontamination or hazardous dust) calls for a certified H-class vacuum, confirm the requirement with CCW before relying on this machine for that work.

Operating Advice
- Adjust the harness and waist strap before starting so the weight sits on the hips, not the shoulders.
- Always run with a bag fitted. Running without one loads the filter and can let dust reach the motor.
- Change the paper bag when suction drops, not only when it looks full.
- Check the filter regularly and replace it when it is dirty or damaged.
- Do not pick up water or wet debris unless Cleanstar confirms the model is rated for it.
- Use the cord restraint so the plug is not pulled on when you move away from the outlet.
