The Big Boy Wheel Kit replaces the stock 7-inch wheels on a Cimex carpet scrubber with 10-inch semi-pneumatic soft rubber wheels on a stainless steel axle. The wheels run on sealed ball bearings and roll smoothly on all surfaces, and the pliable semi-pneumatic tyres are made from non-marking rubber.
A Cimex is heavy to move between the van, stairs, kerbs and the job. Larger wheels make that easier, and the stainless axle replaces the standard zinc-plated one, which can corrode.
Important: Check Your Machine Before Ordering
CCW lists this kit as a 10-inch wheel upgrade for all Cimex machines. However, the US supplier sells it in a 19-inch (CR48) version, with an axle part number carrying "19", and this product's own web address also ends in "19". The fit on the 15-inch Cimex CR38 is not confirmed. If you run a CR38, contact us with your machine model before ordering.

Fitting Advice
- Unplug the machine and drain any solution before you tip or support it.
- Note how the washers and retaining clips sit on the old axle before you remove them. The kit list does not include washers or clips, so keep the originals.
- Check the T-piece. If the old axle has corroded into it, fit the new T-piece supplied.
- Fit the stainless axle and the new wheels, then refit the washers and clips.
- Spin each wheel by hand and roll the machine before you take it to a job.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my Cimex CR38?
Not confirmed. The US supplier lists the kit in a 19-inch (CR48) version. Contact us with your machine model before ordering for a CR38.
Will the wheels mark hard floors?
The tyres are non-marking soft rubber.
Why a stainless axle?
The standard axle is zinc plated and can corrode, especially on a machine that is regularly wet. Stainless steel resists that corrosion.
Do I need the new T-piece?
Only if the old axle has corroded into the old T-piece and you cannot free it cleanly. The kit supplies one so you do not have to stop the job to order it.
