Ball bearing for the idler pulley in the HydraMaster CDS drive on the Toyota HiAce. HydraMaster part number 000-008-013.
The idler pulley carries the belt tension between the vehicle engine and the CDS pump drive. Its bearings run continuously whenever the engine is running, not just when the machine is cleaning, so they accumulate hours quickly.

Confirmed against Carpet Cleaners Warehouse's own low-maintenance drive shaft (XLMDS) build sheet for the HiAce CDS, which lists 109-036 as taking 2 × 008-013.
Replace them in pairs
Both bearings in an idler pulley do the same work for the same number of hours. If one is rough, the other is not far behind. Changing a single bearing means pulling the pulley twice.
Signs the idler bearings are due: a rumble or whine from the drive that changes with engine speed rather than pump load, visible wobble in the pulley, or belt edge wear that no amount of alignment will fix.

How many do I need?
Two per idler pulley. Order two.
What size bearing is it?
HydraMaster does not publish the bearing's bore, outside diameter or width in the CDS documentation we hold, and we are not going to quote a size we cannot verify. If you need the dimensions before ordering, ask us and we will measure one off the shelf.
Does it suit the CDS 4.8?
The CDS 4.8 uses a different drive arrangement — a polychain belt (010-052) rather than the HiAce idler pulley setup. Do not assume this bearing carries across. Send us your machine details and we will check.
Is the pulley available separately?
Idler pulley 109-036 is not currently a stocked CCW line. Ask us if you need one and we will source it.
