Where It Fits
At 21 cm high, the PL-700A gets where a standard air mover will not: under kitchen cabinets and toe-kicks, beneath beds and furniture, and into narrow corridors. It also stands vertically to dry walls. For open carpet drying, a centrifugal unit such as the X-600AC moves more air.

Using a Low Profile Air Mover
- Slide it under cabinets with the toe-kick removed to dry the subfloor and cabinet base.
- Stand it vertically against a wet wall, outlet facing along the wall surface.
- Work it with dehumidification — moving air evaporates water, and a dehumidifier has to take it out.
Electrical Safety
- Plug into an earthed outlet protected by an RCD, and keep leads off wet floors where you can.
- Include the unit in your test-and-tag schedule.
- Before daisy-chaining or running several units on one circuit, add up the current draw of every unit and stay within the circuit and outlet rating. The figures on this page are CCW's listing for the 230 V unit.
- Do not run the unit if the lead, plug or housing is damaged.
Daisy-Chaining — Check Before You Chain
The "additional six units" figure is CCW's existing listing. XPOWER's 230 V outlet rating is not published, so before running seven units from one outlet, confirm the circuit rating and check the total current (1.0 A each on CCW's figures). If in doubt, split the load across circuits.
Care
- Keep the inlet grille clear of lint and debris — a blocked inlet cuts airflow and makes the motor run hot.
- Wipe the housing down after Category 2 or 3 losses and before the unit goes to the next job.
- If the thermal protection trips, switch off, unplug, clear the inlet and let the motor cool before restarting.
