Replacement top case (Wagner part CST-62200-001) for the Wagner L622 hand-held moisture meter. It is the upper half of the meter housing, which surrounds and seals the electronics and the display.
Replace it when the original is cracked, broken or no longer sealing. A damaged case lets dust and moisture into the meter, and a mill or kiln environment is hard on both.
Important: Two Top Cases Are Listed
CCW lists two Wagner top cases:

Case, Not Calibration
Replacing a cracked top case restores the protection around the electronics and the display. It does not affect calibration. A meter that has been dropped hard enough to crack its case is worth checking before it is trusted again. Use the Wagner Calibration Verification Block: Wagner's L622 manual gives a correct reading of 20.0 %MC on the block, with 18.0 to 22.0 %MC acceptable.
Compatibility
Wagner now lists the L622 as a legacy meter, so spare parts may become harder to source over time.

Fitting Advice
- Remove the battery before opening the meter.
- Photograph the inside before moving anything, so the display, keypad and cables go back the same way.
- Transfer the electronics carefully; do not force ribbon cables or connectors.
- Check the seal around the display and case join before closing up.
- Run the air test and the verification block test before returning the meter to service.
