How a rotary hard-surface tool works
A spinner puts high-pressure solution through rotating jets inside a shrouded head, and pulls it straight back out under vacuum. The seal between the head and the floor is what makes it work: it contains the spray, it holds the vacuum, and it is why a spinner cleans grout without soaking the room.
Almost every performance complaint on these tools comes back to that seal — a worn brush ring, a damaged shell or a tired swivel — rather than to pressure or chemistry.
Match the size to the tool
This is the 15 inch ring. The 12 inch TH-40 takes the TH-270B ring. They are not interchangeable.
Replace on wear, not on failure
A brush ring does not fail suddenly. It gets shorter, the seal gets marginal, and recovery gets worse over weeks — slowly enough that the operator adapts without noticing. Measure the bristle length against a new ring once a season.

Warranty note
The TurboForce TH-40 owner's manual gives the tool a one-year warranty from purchase for the original purchaser, excluding the boot (90 days), vacuum hoses, lines and fittings, and the swivel if its factory seal has been broken. Terms for the TH-15 and Mini are not published; ask us if a tool is still inside its warranty period before you order parts.
Frequently asked questions
Brush ring or hard boot ring?
The brush ring conforms to profiled tile and deep grout lines. The Teflon hard boot ring seals better with less drag on polished concrete, honed stone and large-format tile.
Will the 12 inch ring fit if I trim it?
No. The TH-15 and TH-40 heads are different diameters and the rings are made for each. Order the ring for your tool.
How do I know it is worn?
Recovery drops and water is left at the edge of each pass. Compare the bristle length with a new ring; a short ring no longer holds the vacuum seal.
TurboForce parts are model-specific — the TH-40, TH-15 and the Mini share very little. Tell us your tool model and we will confirm the part before you order.
