Stubby check strainer for 1/8 inch VeeJets
Screws directly into the back of a 1/8 inch VeeJet. It does two jobs at once: the check valve stops the jet dripping when the trigger is released, and the strainer keeps debris out of the orifice.

Why dripping matters more than it looks
A jet that drips between passes puts uncontrolled water into the carpet at the start of every stroke. On a wool or a solution-sensitive fibre that is where over-wetting and wick-back begin. It also wastes solution and makes the operator look careless.
The strainer half is the one that saves the call-out. A partially blocked jet does not stop working — it sprays slightly off pattern, and the streaking gets blamed on technique.
Check the jet size before ordering
This is the 1/8 inch version. For 1/4 inch VeeJets use the 1/4 inch strainer check valve. They are not interchangeable.
