PMF strainer check valve for 1/4 inch VeeJets
A combined strainer and check valve that fits behind a 1/4 inch VeeJet (PMF H45). The check valve stops the jet dripping when the trigger is released; the strainer keeps debris out of the orifice.

Check the jet size before ordering
This is the 1/4 inch version. For 1/8 inch VeeJets use the PMF stubby check strainer for 1/8 inch VeeJets. They are not interchangeable.
Why fit one at all
A dripping jet puts water into the carpet where you did not intend it, which is where over-wetting starts. A partly blocked jet sprays off pattern and makes good cleaning look like a poor operator. A check strainer deals with both, and it is a cheaper part than either problem.
Frequently asked questions
Does it fit a TeeJet?
No. PMF lists separate strainer/check valves for TeeJets (H46 and H46-B). Contact us if your tool uses TeeJets.
How often should it be cleaned?
Whenever the spray pattern narrows, streaks or drips. Hard water and undissolved chemical block strainers faster.
Which 1/4 inch VeeJets do you stock?
We carry Spraying Systems 1/4 inch VeeJets, for example the 8002 and 9502. Match the jet size to your tool's specification.
What we see in the field
A fine jet that keeps blocking usually has a problem upstream. Clean the strainer and check the supply rather than poking wire through the jet opening and changing the spray pattern. Make sure the check valve closes properly if the tool drips after shut-off.
Tell us the wand or tool you are working on and we will confirm the part before you order.
