For existing machines
This part is for the Razorback MaxxDry 125L dehumidifier (MDX125L), which is no longer sold new. CCW continues to supply spare parts so existing machines stay in service. Check the model plate on your machine before ordering, or contact CCW with the model and we will confirm the fit.
Important: check the size
The MaxxDry 85L takes a smaller filter, 243 x 270 x 15 mm: the MaxxDry 85L air filter. Measure the filter you are replacing if you are unsure which machine you have.

A blocked filter costs you litres per day
A dehumidifier removes water in proportion to the air it moves across its coil. A loaded filter reduces that airflow, and the machine keeps running, keeps sounding normal and quietly stops performing. The drying log shows equipment on site; the moisture readings show a job that has stalled.
On a construction dust or fire job, check the filter daily. On a clean water loss, weekly is usually enough.
What MERV 8 means here
MERV 8 (G4) catches the dust and debris that would otherwise foul the coil. It is a machine-protection filter, not an air-quality filter. It is not HEPA and it should not be described to a customer as though it were.
Changing the filter
- Switch off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Remove the old filter and note which way it faced.
- Check the coil face for dust that has already got past. A fouled coil needs cleaning, not just a new filter.
- Fit the new filter the same way round and make sure it sits flat with no gaps at the edges.

It is sold as a replacement filter. Washing is not described by the manufacturer, so replace it when it is loaded.
Will it fit the MaxxDry 85L?
No. The 85L takes the 243 x 270 x 15 mm filter.
