The North 7580P100 is a P100 particulate filter for North by Honeywell half-mask and full-facepiece respirators, sold as a pair. This North pancake cartridge is classified P100, and is 99.97% efficient against all particulates, including those that contain oil-based aerosols.
Restoration technicians use it for mould remediation, demolition dust and other particulate hazards.

Important: North fitting only
This filter uses the North bayonet connection. It does not fit 3M respirators. If you wear the 3M 7500 series half face respirator (medium) or (large), use the 3M 60921 organic vapour/P100 cartridge instead.

What it does not do
- It filters particulates only. It does not filter gases or vapours, so it will not stop solvent, chemical or odour vapour. For that you need a combination cartridge.
- It is not for oxygen-deficient atmospheres or conditions immediately dangerous to life or health.
- A respirator only protects if it seals. Fit test the facepiece, do a seal check each time you put it on, and keep facial hair out of the seal area.
P100 and Australian filter classes
P100 is a US NIOSH classification, not an AS/NZS 1716 class (P1, P2, P3). If your site, client or remediation specification calls for an AS/NZS 1716 P2 or P3 filter, confirm what documentation they require before relying on this one.
When to replace
Replace both filters together when breathing becomes noticeably harder, when a filter is damaged or wet through, or as your workplace respiratory protection program directs for mould and contaminated-material work.

Is this filter suitable for mould remediation?
Yes, for the particulate hazard. Mould spores and debris are particulates, and P100 is 99.97% efficient against them. Use it within your site's respiratory protection program.
Will it fit my 3M half mask?
No. It uses the North bayonet connection. For the 3M 7500 series use the 3M 60921.
Will it stop chemical smells?
No. It is a particulate filter only and does not filter gases or vapours.
Is P100 the same as P3?
They come from different standards and are not interchangeable on paper. See the section above if your job specifies an Australian filter class.
