Mytee H106 Cuff-Lynx swivel reducer, 2.5 inch to 2 inch. It joins a 2.5 inch vacuum hose to 2 inch hose or tools in the Cuff-Lynx system.
Reduce Late, Not Early
Airflow is limited by the narrowest part of the line. Running 2.5 inch hose for the long run and reducing to 2 inch close to the tool keeps the bulk of the run at the larger bore. Reducing at the machine gives you a 2 inch system regardless of what hose you bought.
Why the Swivel Matters
A fixed reducer transmits every twist in the hose to the tool, and the operator ends up managing the hose instead of the wand. On a long run the line will otherwise wind itself up over a room.
Nylon or Vinyl
This is the H106. Mytee's vinyl version is the H106V. Check which series the rest of your hose set uses before ordering.
