Hydro-Force Pro 4000 solution hose, 7.5 metres, 1/4 inch, rated to 4,000 psi and 120 degrees C. Steel braided under a tough non-marking polymer cover that survives being dragged across concrete and still looks right inside a customer's home.
Supplied with premium quick connects fitted and a shut-off valve at the tool end, so flow can be stopped at the tool rather than at the machine.
The Pro 4000 Range — Length and Fittings
Same hose throughout. What changes is the length and what is already fitted to the ends.

MF means premium quick connects are already fitted. MFV adds a shut-off valve at the tool end. A bare hose is the cheaper start if you already have fittings; the MF and MFV versions save buying and fitting them separately.
Why the Cover Matters as Much as the Rating
A solution hose spends its life being dragged from a van, across a driveway, over a doorstep and onto someone's floor. Two things follow from that.
The cover has to survive concrete without shredding, and it has to be non-marking — a hose that leaves black witness marks across a client's tiles undoes the job you just did. The Pro 4000's polymer cover is built for both.
The 4,000 psi rating is well above what carpet cleaning uses. That headroom is what keeps a hose serviceable after years of heat cycling rather than being marginal from new.

Durability Claim — Stated by the Manufacturer
Hydro-Force states that the Pro 4000 has been shown in engineering tests to outlast comparable solution hoses. The manufacturer does not publish the test method or the products compared, and CCW has not independently verified it. What is verifiable is the construction and the ratings above.
Operating Advice
- Depressurise before disconnecting. A live line at 1,000 psi does not let go politely.
- Do not kink it to stop flow. Use a shut-off valve — that is what the MFV versions are for.
- Keep it off the hot parts of the truckmount. Heat cycling is what ages a solution hose, and the rating is a limit rather than a target.
- Inspect the ends. Hoses fail at the fittings far more often than along their length, and a weep at a fitting is the early warning.
- Reel it rather than coiling it on the floor, and never drag it around a sharp external corner under pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the valve do?
It lets you stop flow at the tool rather than walking back to the machine. On tile and grout work in particular that saves a great deal of walking, and it stops the habit of kinking the hose to stop flow.
What is the difference between MF and MFV?
MF is quick connects only. MFV adds the shut-off valve.
What pressure does carpet cleaning actually need?
Far less than 4,000 psi. Around 1,000 psi is sufficient for tile and grout work and carpet runs lower again. The rating is headroom, not a target.
Will it mark my customer's floor?
It is a non-marking cover, which is the reason to buy this rather than a general purpose pressure hose.
Can I join two lengths together?
Yes, with quick connects at the join. Every metre costs a little pressure at the tool, so carry what the property needs rather than joining as standard.

What We See in the Field
Solution hoses are replaced because of the ends, not the middle. A fitting that has been cracked open under pressure a few hundred times starts to weep, and the hose gets condemned when the fitting was the fault.
The other one is length. Operators buy 30 m to avoid ever joining, then drag all of it into every job. Pressure drop over the run is real — carry the length you need for the property, not the worst property you have ever seen.
