Product Overview
The same Hydro-Force Hydro-Filter in-line waste filter as the AC10, supplied with a complete set of 2 inch Flash Cuffs already fitted to each end. Hoses connect and release with the push of a button instead of being screwed on and off.
It sits in the vacuum line between the tool and the machine, catching hair, fibre, grit and building debris before they reach the waste tank, the pump-out or the vacuum blower. The body is clear, so the soil recovered is visible to the operator and to the customer.

Choose the AC10F if the rest of your vacuum line already runs Flash Cuffs. Choose the AC10 if your hoses use screw cuffs, or you would rather fit your own.
Why Flash Cuffs Matter on a Filter
An in-line filter is the fitting you disconnect most often, because it is the one you empty. On a screw cuff that is two threaded joints every time, in a wet gloved hand. A Flash Cuff is a push-button release, and it swivels, so the hose either side does not wind up as the filter is turned.

Compatibility

Hydro-Force does not publish overall dimensions or weight for the AC10F. Rather than estimate them, we have left them out.
Operating Advice
- Empty it at the end of every job rather than when it blocks. A loaded filter costs airflow long before it stops the machine.
- Never run the line with the screen removed.
- Keep the cuff O-rings in condition. A perished O-ring at a cuff is a silent air leak — see Flash Cuff Replacement O-Ring (AH204A).
- On water damage extraction the filter loads quickly with silt and insulation. Check it during the job, not after.
Maintenance
Rinse the screen and the body with clean water and let both dry before storing. Keep the lid thread and its sealing face clean; grit on the sealing face is the most common cause of a filter that will not hold vacuum. Check the Flash Cuff O-rings when the filter is apart — it is the one moment they are easy to see.

Is the filter itself any different from the AC10?
No. Same body, same lid, same stainless screen. The difference is the cuffs.
Are the cuffs already fitted?
Yes. It is supplied as a complete assembly with two female and two male 2 inch Flash Cuffs.
Will it connect to screw cuff hoses?
Not directly. Flash Cuffs and screw cuffs are different systems. You would need to change the cuffs on the hoses either side, or fit the AC10 instead.
Which replacement screen does it take?
The same one as the AC10 — Hydro-Filter Replacement Screen (AC10C).
Can I run it on a 1.5 inch line?
Only through reducers, and you will lose airflow across them. The 2 inch to 1.5 inch Flash Cuff reducer (AH201) is the fitting for that.
