The Dri-Eaz LGR 7000XLi is an extra-large (XL) low grain refrigerant (LGR) dehumidifier for water damage restoration, supplied by CCW in the 230 V version (SKU F412-230V). Dri-Eaz describes it as the leading performer in the XL LGR category, and states that it removes more water than any other dehumidifier in its category.
Overview
To achieve the 7000's performance, Dri-Eaz engineers developed Advanced Crossflow Technology to maximise energy utilisation. The unit's built-in sensors constantly monitor real-time performance data to automatically calculate ideal operating parameters, such as fan speed and defrost cycle duration, in all conditions.
From 2017, all LGR i-Series units include enhanced control systems for better water removal, plus grain depression information and filter replacement reminders to help you keep your drying systems operating at peak efficiency.
Important: This Is the 230 V Model
The specification sheet and spare parts list linked below are Dri-Eaz's documents for the US 115 V / 60 Hz model (part 108110). Dimensions, hose and cord lengths carry over, but the electrical figures, current draw and safety listing on those documents do not apply to the 230 V unit. Use the 230 V specifications on this page, and ask us if you need a figure that is not listed.

Where It Fits in the Job
An LGR dehumidifier keeps removing water after the air has already been dried down, which is when a conventional refrigerant unit stalls. That is what lets a drying job reach the dry standard rather than plateau. The 7000XLi is the XL unit in the Dri-Eaz LGR range: it suits large losses, open-plan areas and jobs where one large machine is preferable to several smaller ones.
For smaller rooms, lofts, bathrooms and tight access, the compact Dri-Eaz LGR Dehumidifier BD2500 230 Volt is the better fit.

The running-cost figures are quoted in pounds sterling from a UK specification. They are not an Australian running cost — use the 0.92 kW power consumption and your own electricity tariff to work out daily cost on your jobs.
Where the Figures Differ
Sources do not all agree, so we show each figure rather than average them:
- Maximum water removal: 95 L/day (feature list above) vs 91 L/day (CCW specification list, and UK Dri-Eaz dealers for the 230 V model F412-230V). The 91 L/day figure is the one tied to a stated test condition.
- US 115 V model (Legend Brands, Dri-Eaz's parent company): 61.5 L/day AHAM, 111 L/day at saturation, 1–38 °C operating range, R32 refrigerant on the current build. These are for a different electrical version and, for refrigerant, possibly a later production run.
- Air filter: CCW's list says 3M™ HAF; UK dealers list the 230 V unit with a 4-PRO filter, and Legend Brands list the 4-PRO for the 7000XLi. See Filters below.

Two filters in the CCW catalogue are listed for the LGR 7000XLi (F412):

A clogged filter starves the coil of air and cuts water removal. Check the filter at every equipment swap on a job, and replace it when the control panel's filter reminder appears or the filter is visibly loaded.
Operating Advice
- Run the 12.2 m drain hose to a floor waste, sink or outside drain before starting, so the automatic pump-out has somewhere to go. Check the hose is not kinked or lifted higher than the pump can push.
- Stand the unit where the process air can reach the wet area, and use the 305 mm floor-level outlet to direct dry air where it is needed.
- Use the hour and kilowatt-hour counters to record run time and energy use for your drying log and insurance reporting.
- The plug is a 3-pin 10 amp. At a 4.0 A draw it runs from a standard outlet; if you must use an extension lead, use a correctly rated heavy-duty lead and keep it uncoiled.
- Lock the collapsible handle down and use the wheels for transport; the unit weighs 49 kg in use.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much water will it remove on a real job?
The published figures are test-condition figures: 91 L/day at 32.2 °C and 90% RH, and 58 L/day at the AHAM condition of 26.7 °C and 60% RH. On a job, removal falls as the air dries — that is normal and is exactly where an LGR unit earns its keep compared with a conventional refrigerant dehumidifier.
Is this the Australian voltage version?
Yes. CCW supplies the 230 V version, F412-230V, with a 3-pin 10 amp plug. The linked specification sheet is for the US 115 V model, so do not use its electrical figures.
Which filter does it take?
The 4-PRO filter F581 or the HI-FLO MERV-8 filter AC236A-MERV8. Both are listed for the LGR 7000XLi (F412). If your unit has a different filter fitted, send us a photo and the serial number and we will confirm.
7000XLi or BD2500?
The 7000XLi is the XL unit: more water removal and airflow, 49 kg, on wheels. The BD2500 is a compact 30 kg unit that stacks and fits into lofts, bathrooms and kitchens. Many restorers run both — the 7000XLi for the main affected area, the BD2500 for confined rooms.
What warranty applies?
CCW's specification lists a 2-year limited product warranty, a 6-year refrigeration system warranty and a lifetime housing warranty. Ask us for the current warranty terms before purchase if they matter to your fleet planning.
Can it run unattended overnight?
It is built for continuous restoration drying, with automatic pump-out, a built-in humidistat and automatic defrost. Confirm the drain hose is secure and discharging correctly before you leave site.
