If your machine is not on that list, tell us the model and we will confirm before you order.
Manufacturer's Performance Claims
The manufacturer states this filter has 20 percent less air restriction than traditional MERV-8 pleated and OEM filters, and around five times their dust-holding capacity. Those are the manufacturer's comparisons against unnamed products, and CCW has not independently verified them.
What is verifiable is the specification: MERV-8 efficiency, 100 percent polyester, 90 percent recycled content.
Why the Filter Decides How the Machine Performs
A dehumidifier moves air across a coil. Restrict the air and you reduce the water it can pull out, regardless of how well the refrigeration circuit is working.
A loaded filter is therefore a drying performance problem before it is a maintenance problem, and it shows up as a drying log that has flattened out while the machine appears to be running normally.

Operating Advice
- Check the filter at every equipment swap on a job, not at the end of the job.
- Carry spares. A filter changed on site keeps the drying on schedule; a filter changed back at base does not.
- On fire and soot work, expect to change filters far more often than on water damage.
- Do not run a dehumidifier without a filter. What the filter catches otherwise goes onto the coil, and a fouled coil is a service job.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my dehumidifier?
See the fitment list above. If your model is not there, ask us before ordering.
What does MERV-8 mean?
It is a filtration efficiency rating. MERV-8 is the standard grade for equipment protection on restoration dehumidifiers.
How often should it be changed?
On condition rather than on a schedule. Soot and construction dust load a filter far faster than ordinary water damage work.
Can I clean and reuse it?
It is a disposable filter. Washing a media filter damages the media and changes its efficiency.

What We See in the Field
Filters are the cheapest thing on a drying job and the most common reason a dehumidifier underperforms. When grain depression stalls and the machine sounds normal, check the filter before you suspect the refrigeration.
