Why a case is not an optional extra
A moisture meter is a calibrated instrument that spends its life in a vehicle. Loose in a toolbox it gets knocked, its pins get bent and its display gets scratched, and none of that announces itself — the meter still switches on and still shows a number. Most meters that fail a check against a moisture content standard have been carried badly rather than used badly.

The Delmhorst J series, including the J-Lite and the JL-2000. If you are running a current 30-series meter, that uses the 324CAS-0111 case instead — ask us and we will confirm.
Is a case really necessary?
A moisture meter is a calibrated instrument that lives in a vehicle. Loose in a toolbox it takes knocks that shift calibration without any visible damage, and the pins bend. The case costs less than a recalibration.
Does it hold electrodes as well?
It is sized for the meter and its immediate accessories. Larger electrodes such as the 26-ES slide hammer travel separately.
