Heavy-duty 100% cotton bonnet, 43 cm. It gives high absorbency with aggressive agitation, for drying carpet as the last cleaning step or as a primary absorbent cleaning bonnet.
Extraction and Drying
Heavy cotton gives both absorbency and agitation. Used after extraction it pulls residual moisture out of the pile; used with a spotting or interim cleaning solution it works the chemistry in.
Cotton or Synthetic?
Cotton absorbs more than a synthetic bonnet. For encapsulation, where you want agitation and durability rather than maximum pick-up, a synthetic bonnet such as the Tuway Thin One is usually the better choice.
Launder Them Properly
Bonnets carry everything they lift. Wash them hot without fabric softener — softener coats cotton fibre and destroys its absorbency, which is the only reason you bought cotton.
