Tuway Thin One Bonnet, 12 Inch (30 cm), Each

Regular price $51.45

SKU:AX142C-TWTHIN12

Product Overview

Tuway Thin One low-profile bonnet, 12 inch (30 cm), sold each. A favourite for oscillating pad (OP) machines because of its durability, and also used for buffing resilient floors.

PadCapping

Thin One bonnets are not as absorbent as a cotton pad. With an encapsulation detergent they work very well — a method often called PadCapping. You clean two ways at once: absorption into the bonnet, and encapsulation of what is left in the carpet.

Features

  • Low profile carpet scrubbing bonnet with good cleaning action and low operator fatigue.
  • Synthetic blended yarn (polyester/rayon) with good absorbency and durability.
  • Ideal for light-soil applications.
  • 50 to 60 washings, depending on consistency with Tuway laundry specifications.
  • Tuway makes the Thin One in sizes from 8 to 21 inch.

Launder Them Properly

Bonnets carry everything they lift. Wash them hot without fabric softener — softener coats the fibre and destroys absorbency. Tuway rates its synthetic bonnets at 50 to 60 washings, depending on how consistently they are laundered to Tuway's specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Thin One or cotton?

Thin One for durability and encapsulation. Cotton for maximum absorbency.

Which size do I need?

Match the pad diameter on your machine. Measure the driver before ordering.

Can I buff hard floors with it?

Yes. Tuway lists it for buffing resilient floors.

Choosing a Bonnet

What we see in the field

Thin One pads are easy to keep working because they don't feel as soggy as thick cotton. That doesn't mean the face is clean. Check soil loading, change pads when needed and don't assume an encapsulation job is finished just because the pad still looks usable.

Tell us the machine, the pad size and the finish you are working on and we will match it.
