Cut it to your own job lengths
Supplied on an uncut roll so you can make up the lengths your work actually needs rather than the lengths someone else guessed. Most operators cut a set of standard lengths for common situations and keep a few long runs for awkward ones.
Why safety yellow
Tubing runs across floors in occupied buildings, often overnight, and often where someone else will walk. High-visibility tubing is a trip-hazard control, not a styling choice. It is also far easier to account for at the end of a job — dark tubing gets left behind under furniture.

Where It Fits in an HP System
The 3/8 inch tubing is the last link in an HP setup: it runs from the ports on an active hoseline or a Vac-It panel to the wall injectors or the panel's extraction point. Unused ports are closed with nipple caps.
It is not used on Direct-It systems, which run 1.25 inch hose to 5/8 inch wall penetrators.
Cutting It to Length
- General purpose: 18–20 inches (about 460–510 mm), per Injectidry.
- Hanging hoselines from ceilings or upper walls: 6 inches (about 150 mm).
- A 200 ft roll gives roughly 120 lengths at 20 inches, or about 400 at 6 inches.
- Cut square with a sharp tubing cutter. A ragged or angled end does not seal on the fitting.
- Push the tube fully onto the fitting. Check each run for air draw once the system is running.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use other 3/8 inch tubing?
Only if the outside diameter matches. Injectidry's fittings are sized for 3/8 inch ID x 1/2 inch OD tube. Hardware-store tube sold as "3/8 inch" may be a different wall thickness and may not seal. Its colour also matters for trip safety.
What temperature is it rated to?
Injectidry does not publish a temperature rating or material for the HP-TUB. Ask us if your setup runs hot air close to the tubing.
How do I join two lengths?
Use a 3/8 x 3/8 inch tubing connector.
