Replacement tank for the SpeedClean Coiljet. SpeedClean lists it as the CJ2-01-S water/chemical tank — the moulding that carries both the rinse water and the coil cleaner concentrate.
Why tanks crack
Coil cleaning chemistry is aggressive — alkaline or acidic depending on the coil — and a tank spends its life holding it in the back of a hot van. Cracks start at stress points around the fittings and at the base where the tank sits on the base plate.
Rinse the tank after use. Leaving concentrate standing in it between jobs shortens its life and, more to the point, means the next technician is working with a chemistry nobody measured.
Important — chemical compatibility
SpeedClean's manual says not to use acids or cleaners containing sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide in the CoilJet, and not to mix chemicals. SpeedClean designs the CoilJet for non-caustic alkaline coil cleaners; caustic products pit and degrade internal parts, especially when left standing in the machine. If a harsh cleaner has been used, flush the chemical tank, valve and pump with clean water straight away. Check the SDS of any coil cleaner before it goes in the tank.

Signs the tank is the problem
- Cleaner leaking into the water side: SpeedClean's support page names a cracked tank or a faulty chemical mixing valve as the likely causes. Check the valve before condemning the tank.
- Wet base or chemical staining under the tank: look for a crack at the fittings and at the base.
- Chemical not mixing: check for debris caught at the tank outlet before blaming the valve.
Care and storage (SpeedClean manual)
- Run clean water through the pump at the end of every job.
- Liquid can stay in the tanks for short periods (under a week).
- For longer storage, drain both tanks and flush the pump and chemical valve with clean water.
- Do not store the unit outdoors, and do not fill it with water hotter than 60 °C.
Frequently asked questions
Why do the capacities on CCW's machine page and SpeedClean's manual differ slightly?
The manual gives US gallons and quarts; 3.3 gal is about 12.5 L and 1.75 qt about 1.66 L. The difference is rounding, not a different tank.
Can I store chemical in the tank between jobs?
Not for long. SpeedClean says liquid can stay in the tanks for under a week; caustic products should be flushed out immediately.
Is the cap included?
No. Order the cap separately if yours is cracked or its vent is blocked.
