Where it sits in the V1245 family
- V1245 — 400 psi, cast aluminium body. Lighter and cheaper; lower rating.
- V1245B — 500 psi, forged brass, high temperature. This listing.
- V1245S — cast stainless with a PTFE-sealed stem and heavy duty dipped handle, rated 1,000 psi high heat with the AC31V5 hanger.

Frequently asked questions
Which hanger size do I need?
Measure the outside diameter of the wand or tool tube the valve clamps to. PMF offers 1-1/2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hangers. Tell us the size when you order.
Does the R1245 kit also fit a V4N?
Yes. PMF lists the V4N kit as RV4N, but CCW's workshop has confirmed it is the same kit.
How does it compare with the V2P-EZ?
Both are 500 psi, high-temperature forged brass valves. The V2P-EZ has a PTFE seat, and PMF lists different repair kits for the two.
