PMF R1245 repair kit for V1245 valves
PMF's R1245 is the repair kit for the V1245 valve family in aluminium, plastic and brass, and CCW's workshop has confirmed it is the same kit as PMF's RV4N for the V4N valve. It services both the V1245B and the V4N valves we stock.

- PMF V1245P — plastic body
- PMF V1245B — forged brass body, 500 psi, high temperature
- PMF V4N — forged brass body, 500 psi, high temperature (PMF lists the kit as RV4N)

- V1245S stainless valve: PMF lists the R1245SS for it.

PMF also lists an R1245TS with PTFE O-rings and an R1245V with Viton seals. This listing is the standard R1245. Ask us if your chemistry or temperature calls for PTFE or Viton.
Rebuild before you replace
The V1245 bodies have stainless stems, and the body outlives the seals several times over. A dripping valve on a two-year-old tool is a consumable problem, not a reason to buy the tool again.
Frequently asked questions
PMF lists RV4N and R1245 as separate part numbers. Are they really the same?
CCW's workshop has confirmed the kit is the same for both valves. PMF also lists PTFE and Viton versions of each; ask us if your chemistry calls for those.
Will this kit fix a valve on my PMF upholstery tool?
Yes for every PMF tool listed above. For other tools, check the valve model stamped on the body — PMF builds tools with aluminium, brass, plastic and stainless valves.
The valve still drips after rebuilding. What next?
Check for scoring on the seat area or a bent stem. If the body itself is damaged, a kit will not seal it and the valve needs replacing.
