Stainless steel strainer adapter with a 1/4 inch male connection. It is used with the Mesh Strainer (NA0803) and the Strainer Body 1/4" S/S (NA0802-SS) to make a filter system suitable for most tools.

Important: Male or Female Port?
CCW stocks two stainless strainer adapters that look alike. This one (NA0805-SS) has a 1/4 inch male connection. If the fitting you are connecting to needs a 1/4 inch female port instead, you need the 1/4 Inch Stainless Steel Strainer Adapter NA0804-SS. Check the fitting on your solution line before you order.

How the Strainer Assembly Goes Together
Working from the solution line towards the jet: strainer adapter, strainer screen, strainer body, then your quick connect or jet cap. The screen sits inside the body. All three parts are needed for a working filter, and each is sold separately.

Use the screen with a check valve if you want the line to stay primed and stop dribbling when you release the trigger; use the plain screen if you do not need backflow prevention.
Brass or Stainless?
There is no brass version of the male adapter. If you are building a stainless assembly for acidic tile and grout chemistry, use the stainless body and screen with it; a brass piece in the assembly becomes the weak point.
Check the Thread Standard
These are 1/4 inch threads, and carpet cleaning equipment in Australia arrives with both NPT and BSP. The two start together and will not seal. If you are joining equipment from different sources, tell us what you are connecting to.

Does this include the screen and body?
No. This is the adapter only. The screen and body are listed in the table above.
What is the difference between NA0805-SS and NA0804-SS?
The connection on the free end. NA0805-SS is 1/4 inch male; NA0804-SS is a 1/4 inch female port. Both are stainless and both work with the same screen and body.
Can I mix brass and stainless parts?
The brass and stainless parts are the same 1/4 inch size. Mixing them works mechanically, but if you chose stainless for chemical resistance, a brass piece in the assembly is the weak point.
