The OHAir MySpace is a compact hydroxyl air treatment unit using PYURE technology. A UV source produces hydroxyls and organic oxidants at concentrations similar to those found outdoors, and these break down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odours in the room. This boosted unit covers up to about 60 m² (600 ft²).
The manufacturer states the unit produces less than 50 parts per billion of total oxidants, including ozone, when operated to their guidelines.

Using It Well
Hydroxyl treatment works on airborne odour and VOCs. Remove and clean the odour source first, then run the unit. Size it to the room: the boosted unit is rated to about 60 m².
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the OHAir MySpace kill viruses or bacteria?
We do not make germ-kill, virus or health claims for this unit in Australia. It is sold for odour and VOC reduction.
Can the room be occupied while it runs?
The manufacturer states total oxidants stay below 50 ppb including ozone when operated to their guidelines. Follow their operating instructions.
What size room does it suit?
Up to about 50 m² standard, or 60 m² for this boosted unit.
How is it powered?
It accepts 110–240 V AC or 12–24 V DC, according to the manufacturer.
A Note on Earlier Versions of This Page
Earlier versions of this page said the unit sanitises surfaces and air and destroys SARS-CoV-2, viruses, bacteria and mould, and showed kill-rate charts. Those are therapeutic claims in Australia and need approvals we do not hold, so the claims and charts have been removed. The manufacturer's brochure linked below carries the same overseas claims and is provided for its technical content only. The unit is unchanged.
