The International Ozone Titan Hydroxyl Maximiser is a passive evaporative humidifier that sits behind a Titan hydroxyl generator. Hydroxyl generators rely on water vapour in the incoming air, so when the air is dry, output can drop. The Maximiser raises the humidity of the air the Titan draws in, without humidifying the whole building.
It needs no electricity, pump, ultrasonic mist head or moving parts. The current design replaces International Ozone's earlier ultrasonic humidifier.
How It Works
- Fill the internal reservoir with clean water.
- The evaporative media wicks the water upwards.
- The Titan's intake fan draws air through the saturated media.
- The air picks up water vapour.
- Humidified air enters the Titan, where the moisture supports hydroxyl production.

When to Use It
As a guide, use the Maximiser when ambient relative humidity is below about 45% RH. Above about 60% RH it adds little. The Titan runs without it, but in dry conditions it helps the unit work as intended. Check RH with a thermo-hygrometer before deciding.

Setting Up
- Fill the reservoir with clean water.
- Let the evaporative media saturate.

- Switch on the Titan.
- Refill as required. A full reservoir typically lasts about 4–5 days of continuous running; temperature, airflow and humidity change that.
