Minehan Staf is a glycolised aerosol deodoriser built on a quaternary ammonium compound, for hard surfaces and vehicle air conditioning systems. Sprayed into a vehicle's air intake with the system running, it is drawn through the recirculation system and deodorises it in seconds. It is pleasantly scented and leaves the space fresh.

Frequently asked questions

Is Staf a registered disinfectant in Australia?

Not on the information we hold. Its US EPA and USDA references do not apply here, and we have no ARTG listing for it, so we sell it as a deodoriser. Where a scope calls for a listed disinfectant, use a listed product such as Actichem Percide.

Will it fix a smelly vehicle air conditioner?

It deodorises the system. If the evaporator is fouled, the smell will return until the coil is cleaned.

Can it be used on mould?

We do not make mould-control claims for Staf. Remove mould physically and clean the surface.

A note on earlier versions of this page

Earlier versions of this page described Staf as an EPA-registered and USDA-authorised disinfectant and air sanitiser, named bacteria it kills, said it controls mould, mildew and fungus, and called it virucidal against HIV-1. Those are US registrations and disinfectant claims. In Australia, disinfectant and germ-kill claims need an ARTG listing, which we do not hold for this product, so they have been removed along with the mildewstat directions. The product is unchanged.
