Minehan Cobra is a no-rinse alkaline coil cleaner. It penetrates between the coils and fins and reacts on contact, flushing soil to the surface. On a working unit, the condensate it produces rinses the product off the coil, so no separate rinse is needed. Coils that have been removed for repair or cleaning must be rinsed.

Directions for use
- Hold the spray 30 to 40 cm from the coil.
- Direct the spray between the fins so the product reaches the inner surfaces.
- Allow 5 to 15 minutes, or longer on heavy soiling, until the foaming reaction has stopped.
- On a working unit, run it: condensate rinses the coil. Rinse removed coils with water.
At pH 13 Cobra is corrosive. Wear the eye and skin protection listed on the safety data sheet.
Isolate power before cleaning in place, and protect electrical components, walls and flooring. The Mini-Split bib and low tack tape are made for this.

Why don't I need to rinse it?
On an operating unit, the condensate the coil produces carries the product off. Run the system after treatment so that happens.
When must I rinse?
Whenever the coil has been removed from the unit, or the unit is not running, rinse with water.
How long should I leave it?
5 to 15 minutes, until the foam reaction has stopped. Heavily soiled coils may take longer.
Rinse or no-rinse: which is better?
If you can rinse, a rinsing cleaner such as SpeedyFoam or Coil-Shine lets you flush the soil out. Cobra suits in-place work where rinsing is impractical.
