Building a filter into an existing tool
The strainer body and this adapter together let you insert a serviceable filter into a solution line that did not have one. That is worth doing on any tool where a blocked jet means stripping the head to clear it.
Check the thread standard
These are 1/4 inch threads, and carpet cleaning equipment in Australia arrives with both NPT and BSP. The two start together and will not seal. If you are joining equipment from different sources, tell us what you are connecting to.
