Injector Valve Comp Assy AS08 Hydro-Force Sprayer

Regular price $287.64

Product Overview

The complete injector valve assembly for Hydro-Force injection sprayers. This is the heart of the sprayer — the valve that meters concentrate into the high-pressure water stream.

Important — Try the Repair Kits First

This is the most expensive part in the range, and Hydro-Force's own troubleshooting puts it last for a reason. Before replacing the whole valve, work through the cheaper causes:

If the Sprayer Will Not Draw Chemical

Hydro-Force's own troubleshooting sequence works from cheapest to most expensive, and it is worth following in that order rather than replacing the valve first.

  1. Acorn Strainer (NA0840) — the strainer sitting in the concentrate. Clean or replace.
  2. Mesh Strainer without Check Valve (NA0803) — the inlet strainer filtering machine water. Clean or replace.
  3. The metering tip — Yellow Metering Tip (NA0816) or Brown Metering Tip (NA0816C). Clean or replace.
  4. Water Nozzle with O-Ring (NA0808) — a clogged or worn water nozzle loses the velocity that creates the draw.
  5. Injector Valve Repair Kit (NA0841) — if the container backfills rather than failing to draw, this is the kit for it.
  6. Injector Valve Complete (NA0809A) — replace the whole valve only once the above are ruled out.

Chemical build-up inside the valve is also a listed cause. Hydro-Force's remedy is to flush the unit for about twenty seconds with clean water containing an ounce or two of acid or vinegar until the lines run clear.

In particular, if the symptom is that the container backfills — concentrate pushing back into the bottle rather than drawing out of it — that is the check valve, and the Injector Valve Repair Kit (NA0841) is the part designed to fix it. Replacing the entire assembly for a backfilling check valve is money spent for no additional benefit.

We would rather sell you a repair kit that fixes it than a valve that was not necessary.

Fitment

Hydro-Force lists this assembly as fitting the AS08 Pro, the AS08P Plus and the AS08R Revolution. Note that the Revolution's own manual nominates a different valve part number, so if you are running a Revolution, confirm with us before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know the valve is genuinely faulty?

When cleaning the strainers, tip and nozzle has not restored the draw, and the backflow repair kit has not stopped a backfill. Until then the valve is probably not the problem.

Does it come with a metering tip?

The manufacturer does not publish what ships with the assembly. Contact us and we will confirm before you order.

Will it fit my Revolution?

Hydro-Force's distribution data says yes; the Revolution manual names a different valve. That contradiction is unresolved, so please check with us first rather than risk it.

Is it worth repairing or replacing at this price?

Two repair kits exist below this price point and both are worth trying first. If the valve body itself is damaged, replacement is the only option.

What We See in the Field

"My Hydro-Force won't draw chemical." The injector valve is the expensive part people often replace too early. Only condemn the assembly after the cheap restrictions and rebuild items have been ruled out. On an AS08, Hydro-Force has five cheaper checks ahead of replacing the complete injector valve.

Before ordering this, tell us the symptom. There are two cheaper repairs that fix most injector faults.
