The Dri-Eaz 4-PRO is a disposable four-stage air filter for Dri-Eaz refrigerant dehumidifiers. This is the larger 4-PRO size, listed by CCW as 30.48 cm x 30.48 cm.
4-PRO 4-stage filter fits 7000 (F412), 1200 (F203) & BD1000.

Legend Brands (Dri-Eaz's parent company) list their equivalent 4-PRO filter (part 100250, 24-pack) for the LGR 7000XLi, LGR 5000Li, DrizAir 1400 and DrizAir 1200. US distributors sell the same filter as F581 for the DrizAir 1200 (F203) and LGR 7000XLi (F412). The BD1000 does not appear on Legend's US list; it is on CCW's listing and may be a regional model name.
Important: Two 4-PRO Sizes
CCW stocks two 4-PRO sizes. They are not interchangeable:
- This filter, F581 (30.48 cm x 30.48 cm), for the 7000 (F412), 1200 (F203) and BD1000.
- The smaller Dri-Eaz 4-PRO Dehumidifier Filter F583 (25 cm x 27.5 cm), listed by CCW for the EV1800 (F432), BD2500 (F413) and 4000i (F434).
Alternate Filters
Alternate filters: AC236A-MERV8 & PRP4025568.
The HI-FLO MERV-8 Dehumidifier Filter (AC236A-MERV8) is a polyester MERV-8 filter listed for the DrizAir 1200 (F203), LGR 7000XLi (F412) and Phoenix R125, R150, R175, R200 and D385. It has no activated carbon stage, so choose the 4-PRO where odour and fumes matter. PRP4025568 is not currently listed online; ask us if you need it.
Why the Filter Matters on a Dehumidifier
A refrigerant dehumidifier pulls large volumes of air across its coils for days at a time. On a water loss that air carries plaster dust, fibres, soot and debris. Without a working filter that material lands on the coil and heat-exchange surfaces, which restricts airflow, cuts water removal and makes the machine work harder for the same result.
The 4-PRO is the filter Dri-Eaz fit for this duty. It is disposable: when it is loaded you replace it rather than wash it.

The two size listings disagree. Measure the filter in your machine if you are unsure, and tell us what you find.
Checking and Replacing the Filter
- Switch the dehumidifier off and unplug it before opening the filter access.
- Check the filter at every job set-up and on every monitoring visit. Dust-heavy jobs such as demolition or sanding load it far faster than a clean water loss.
- Replace it whenever it looks dirty or heavily loaded with particles. Dri-Eaz state the filters are not reusable.
- Fit the new filter the same way round as the old one and make sure it sits flat in its frame with no gaps for air to bypass.
- Never run the machine without a filter fitted.
After a mould or sewage job, treat the used filter as contaminated. Bag it on site and dispose of it with the other job waste rather than carrying it back to the van loose.

Can I wash and reuse a 4-PRO filter?
No. Dri-Eaz state the filters are not reusable. Replace it when it looks dirty or heavily loaded.
Will it fit my LGR 7000XLi?
Yes. The LGR 7000XLi (F412) is on CCW's listing and on Legend Brands' own fitment list for this 4-PRO size.
What is the difference between the F581 and the F583?
Size, and therefore which dehumidifiers they fit. The four-stage media and aluminium frame are the same design. The F583 is the smaller filter.
Should I use the 4-PRO or the HI-FLO MERV-8?
Both are listed for the DrizAir 1200 and LGR 7000XLi. The 4-PRO adds an activated carbon stage for odours and fumes. The HI-FLO is a MERV-8 polyester filter without carbon. Choose on the job type rather than price alone.
How often should I change it?
There is no fixed interval. Dri-Eaz say to replace it whenever it appears dirty or heavily loaded with particles. Check it at set-up and on every monitoring visit.
