Tuway Thin One low-profile bonnet, 12 inch (30 cm), sold each. A favourite for oscillating pad (OP) machines because of its durability, and also used for buffing resilient floors.
PadCapping
Thin One bonnets are not as absorbent as a cotton pad. With an encapsulation detergent they work very well — a method often called PadCapping. You clean two ways at once: absorption into the bonnet, and encapsulation of what is left in the carpet.

Launder Them Properly
Bonnets carry everything they lift. Wash them hot without fabric softener — softener coats the fibre and destroys absorbency. Tuway rates its synthetic bonnets at 50 to 60 washings, depending on how consistently they are laundered to Tuway's specifications.
