Rebuild before you replace
A high-pressure trigger valve fails at its seals, not its body. The body is a forged, machined component rated to 4,000 psi; the seals are consumables working in hot solution. A kit and a bench half-hour restores the valve, and it is a fraction of the price of a new one.
Diagnose first
Weeping from the outlet with the trigger released is a seat problem — the kit is the answer. Weeping from around the trigger shaft is a stem seal — also in the kit. A valve that will not open, or opens stiffly, is usually scale or grit rather than seals; flush the tool before you dismantle anything.

Rebuild steps
- Shut the machine down and release pressure in the solution line before disconnecting the tool.
- Flush the tool with clean water so grit is not carried into the new seals.
- Photograph the valve as you dismantle it so every part goes back in the same order.
- Replace every seal supplied in the kit, not only the one that was leaking.
- Reconnect and test at low pressure first, then at working pressure, checking the outlet and the trigger shaft for weeping.

Does this kit rebuild a General Pump DG4000S?
TurboForce states the T-11 valve replaces the DG4000S. Whether this kit also suits a DG4000S is not confirmed, so check with us before ordering it for that valve.
When should I replace the valve instead of rebuilding it?
If the body is cracked, the trigger is bent, or the valve still weeps after a complete rebuild, fit a new T-11 trigger valve.
