Monitor Temperature and Relative Humidity remotely WITH SECURE MONITORING SOFTWARE

The Tramex Remote Environmental Monitoring System has been designed and developed by Tramex for professionals who depend on the most accurate, reliable, real-time building environment temperature and relative humidity readings using state-of-the-art technology to respond quickly to environmental changes and notify users.

The TREMS-10 comprises 10 CS-RHTA Tramex Cloud Sensors and a Tramex Cloud Station router. Multiple Sensors can be used with one Station and additional sensor Accessory Packs are also available. Registration and on-site set-up are simple using a QR code check-in procedure.

The on-site Sensors, with long-life batteries, transmit relative humidity, temperature (ºC and ºF), dew point and grains per pound/grams per kilo readings wirelessly via the Tramex Cloud Station enabling remote monitoring of up to 200 on-site Sensors on the Tramex Cloud platform. Tramex Cloud is a secure platform to store and report your moisture, temperature and relative humidity measurements, get notified of adverse conditions and quickly monitor your status from any browser.

There are no subscription fees and there is free data with the Tramex Remote Environmental Monitoring System.

  • Tramex Cloud platform access

How the system works

On-site Cloud Sensors transmit relative humidity, temperature in °C and °F, dew point and grains per pound (grams per kilo) wirelessly to a Tramex Cloud Station router, which uploads to the Tramex Cloud platform. Readings can then be viewed remotely, without anyone attending the site.

  • Battery life of up to 15 years per sensor
  • One Cloud Station supports up to 200 on-site sensors
  • Registration and on-site set-up by QR code check-in
  • Real-time readings with notification of environmental changes

Why remote monitoring changes a drying job

Attendance is the expensive part of a drying programme. A technician driving across town to read a hygrometer is a cost that produces one data point. Remote sensors produce continuous evidence of what the conditions actually did overnight and over weekends, which is what settles a disputed claim and what tells you a site is finished without a site visit to confirm it.

The TREMS range compared

Kit Sensors Measures
TREMS-5 5 x CS-RHTA + Cloud Station Ambient RH, temperature, dew point, GPP
TREMS-10 10 x CS-RHTA + Cloud Station Ambient RH, temperature, dew point, GPP
TREMS-Xtra 5 x CS-RHTX + 5 external RH probes + Cloud Station Ambient plus in-situ relative humidity
TREMS-WME/MC 5 x CS-RHTX + 5 external WME/MC probes + Cloud Station Ambient plus material moisture content / WME

The choice is about what you need to prove. The TREMS-5 and TREMS-10 monitor the air. The Xtra adds probes reading relative humidity inside the structure. The WME/MC adds probes reading moisture content in the material itself. One Cloud Station supports up to 200 sensors, so a system grows by adding accessory packs rather than replacing the station.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate Cloud Station for each job?

One station per site. A single station supports up to 200 sensors, so larger sites are covered by adding sensors, not stations. Running several sites at once means a station on each.

Can I add sensors later?

Yes. Accessory packs add sensors to an existing station – AP-TREMS-5, AP-TREMS-10 and AP-TREMS-Xtra. Match the sensor type to your kit: CS-RHTA for ambient, CS-RHTX where external probes are used.

What happens if the site loses internet?

This is worth checking against your site conditions before quoting a monitoring job. Contact us and we will confirm the current connectivity requirements with Tramex rather than guess.

Is there an ongoing platform cost?

Cloud platform access and any subscription terms are set by Tramex and can change. Contact us for the current position before committing to a monitoring contract.

TREMS is a system rather than an instrument, and the right configuration depends on the sites you monitor. Contact Carpet Cleaners Warehouse before ordering and we will size it against the work you do.
