Important — Check Your Machine's Outlet Temperature
This hose is rated to 100°C. That suits portables and many truckmounts, but some truckmounts can deliver solution hotter than 100°C at the machine outlet. Check your machine's maximum outlet temperature and pump pressure before fitting any solution hose.

What SAE 100R1 Means
SAE 100R1 is a hydraulic hose construction with a single braid of high-tensile steel wire between the rubber tube and the outer cover. The wire braid carries the pressure; the rubber keeps the hose flexible enough to drag and coil. The Neptune 3000 hose uses the same single-wire-braid construction — the practical difference between the two is the temperature rating.
Solution Hose Is a Safety Component
This hose carries water at high pressure and high temperature past the operator's legs and across a customer's floor. When a solution hose fails it does not weep — it bursts, with hot water at pressure.
Inspect the full length regularly. Cover worn through to the wire braid, any bulge, and any weep at a crimp mean the hose is finished. Do not repair a high-pressure hose. Replace it.
Care and Hose Life
- Run it at or below its rating. Heat above 100°C ages the tube and cover quickly, even if the hose holds pressure on the day.
- Keep it off sharp edges. Door frames, driveways and kerbs wear through the cover.
- Release pressure before coiling, and do not coil it tightly while hot — that sets kinks into the reinforcement.
- Store it out of the sun when not in use.

Will it suit my truckmount?
Check two numbers on the machine: maximum pump pressure (must be 3,000 psi or less) and maximum outlet temperature (must be 100°C or less). If the outlet temperature can exceed 100°C, use the Neptune 3000 or Pro 4000 hose instead.
How does it differ from the Neptune 3000 hose?
Same 1/4 inch bore, same 3,000 psi rating and the same single-wire-braid construction. Neptune is rated to 121°C; this hose is rated to 100°C. For machines that stay under 100°C this hose is the lower-cost option.
Which quick connects are fitted?
The hose is supplied with brass quick-connect fittings. Quick connects are not standard across every machine and tool, so tell us your machine and tool and we will confirm the fittings match before dispatch.
Can I repair a damaged section?
No. Replace a high-pressure hose that is worn through to the braid, bulging or weeping at a crimp.

The length the job needs. Every extra metre costs pressure at the tool and adds hose to coil at the end of the day.
