Replacement seal for the clear dome lid fitted to many Australian-made portable carpet extractors. It is made to fit a 350 mm diameter dome. A worn seal lets air in around the lid, which costs vacuum at the wand and can let the recovery tank leak or spill in transit.

It is also the seal used in the Razorback replacement dome kit. Measure your dome before ordering. If it is not 350 mm across, or your machine is not listed, ask us.
Why Replace the Seal?
Over time, seals harden, crack or lose their flexibility. A dome that no longer seals bleeds vacuum: the machine sounds normal, but water pick-up drops and carpets dry slower. Run a hand around the lid with the vacuum on; if you can feel or hear air, the seal is the first thing to check.
Fitting
- Remove the old seal and clean the groove.
- Press the new seal into place evenly around the full circumference.
- Seat the dome and check for air leaks with the vacuum running.
