Frequently asked questions
Which hanger size do I need?
Measure the outside diameter of the wand or tool tube the valve clamps to. PMF offers 1-1/2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hangers. Tell us the size when you order.
Does the R1245 kit also fit a V4N?
Yes. PMF lists the V4N kit as RV4N, but CCW's workshop has confirmed it is the same kit.
How does it compare with the V2P-EZ?
Both are 500 psi, high-temperature forged brass valves. The V2P-EZ has a PTFE seat, and PMF lists different repair kits for the two.
What we see in the field
A brass trigger can keep working for years, but grit through the seat will still make it drip. If the wand keeps spraying after release, stop and check the valve instead of accepting it as normal. A damaged seat won't be fixed by a tighter grip.
Not sure which valve you have, or which kit fits it? Send us a photo of the valve and we will identify it before you order.
