Check your unloader before ordering. Current Razorback extractors (Balboa 700, Balboa 700 Auto, Drago 1600, Drago 1600 Auto) use a Comet LW2520E pump. If the unloader on your machine is not a Hawk unit, this handle may not fit. Send us a photo of the unloader and the machine serial number and we will confirm.
What an unloader does
The unloader diverts pump output back to the tank when the trigger is released, so the pump is not deadheading against a closed valve. It is the part that stops a positive displacement pump destroying itself every time the operator stops spraying.
The handle sets the pressure. A broken or missing handle means the pressure cannot be adjusted, and a machine left at the wrong setting either underperforms or runs hoses and valves above their rating.

Fitting
- Switch off the pump and release pressure by triggering the wand before touching the unloader.
- Fit the handle, then reset the working pressure with the machine running and a gauge in view.
- Carpet is cleaned at around 400 to 500 psi. Set to the job, not to the maximum.

Does it come with the unloader?
No. This is the handle only.
Can I run the machine without the handle?
You will not be able to adjust the pressure. Replace it before the machine goes back to work.
