Marathon M58 pump motor, 1/2 HP, dual voltage 120/230 V, 5.2/2.6 A, 48 frame. Motor only, for Pumptec 205 and 207 series pump heads. Replaces the M4.
Mytee fits the M58 to its 500 psi machines with the 207V pump because it is a dual-voltage motor.
Dual Voltage, and That Matters Here
For Australian use it runs at 230 V drawing 2.6 A. Confirm the motor is connected for 230 V before fitting — a dual-voltage motor connected for the wrong supply is an immediate failure.
The motor is rated 1725 rpm, which is its 60 Hz speed. On a 50 Hz Australian supply an induction motor runs slower, so pump flow is lower than the 60 Hz figure.
Motor Only
This is the motor alone. The pump head is not included. If the pump head is also worn, rebuild it while the assembly is apart — see the Pumptec Kit B Valves and O-Rings, 205V and 207V (10022) and the Pumptec Kit A Plunger and Seals, 205V and 207V (10055).
Electrical Work
Fitting and wiring a mains motor is licensed work in Australia. Have a qualified person do it.
