Agitation from Standing Height
Grout work is done on hands and knees or it is done standing up, and over a commercial floor that is the difference between finishing the job and finishing your back.
The pivoting head is what makes the standing version work. It keeps the brush face flat on the line as the pole angle changes through the stroke, and lets the head follow into corners and up a wall rather than lifting off at the edges.
Why Acid-Resistant Bristle Matters Here
Tile and grout cleaning routinely uses acidic products on cement grout and on mineral deposit. A bristle that softens or goes limp in acid stops cutting after a few jobs, and the brush is then blamed for the result the chemistry produced. Crimped nylon holds its shape through that duty.

The manufacturer does not publish the head dimensions or bristle length. Rather than estimate them, we have left them out.
Operating Advice
- Let the bevel do the work. Pushing harder flattens the bristle onto the tile face instead of driving it into the line.
- Work the line, not the floor. A grout brush that is being used as a floor scrubber is being worn out on the part of the surface that did not need it.
- Rinse acid out of the bristle at the end of the job. Acid-resistant is not acid-proof, and residue left to dry in the block shortens the brush.
- Check the socket lock before each use. A head that works loose mid-stroke is how handles get broken.

Will any broom handle fit?
It uses a lock-down handle socket rather than a thread, so not every handle will suit. Tell us what you have and we will check before you order.
Can I use it with acid grout cleaners?
Yes — the bristle is acid resistant, which is the point of it. Rinse it out afterwards.
Is it better than a hand brush?
Over an area, yes, because you are standing. On a small bathroom a handheld brush like the Mini Shark (AB111) is quicker to get out and quicker to put away.
Will it damage soft grout?
Nylon on cement grout in normal use, no. Any brush will remove grout that has already failed, and finding that out is useful rather than damaging.

What We See in the Field
Standing grout brushes are bought after the first big commercial floor, not before it. The tell is an operator who has started skipping the pre-scrub because of what it costs their knees — at that point the brush pays for itself in consistency of result, not in time.
