Pressure Gauge 2.5 inch diameter 0-3000psi

Regular price $321.50

Overview

Solution pressure gauge, 2.5 inch dial, 0–3000 psi. HydraMaster part number 000-074-167.

This is the high-range gauge used on HydraMaster's high-pressure machines, where a standard 0–1000 or 0–1500 psi gauge would be over-pressured and destroyed.

What it fits

  • HydraMaster Boxxer 318HP — listed as Gauge, Pressure (0 – 3,000 psi), 1 fitted
  • HydraMaster Boxxer 323HP — listed as Gauge, Pressure (0-3000psi), 1 fitted

Both are verified from the machines' own parts lists.

Important — match the range to the machine

Three pressure gauges appear across the HydraMaster range and they are not interchangeable:

  • 074-003 — 0–1000 psi
  • 074-007 — 0–1500 psi (not currently a stocked CCW line)
  • 074-167 — 0–3000 psi, 2.5 inch dial (this gauge)

Do not fit a lower-range gauge to an HP machine. It will be over-pressured the first time the machine runs at full pressure and you will have no reading at all. Equally, do not fit this gauge to a machine that runs to 1000 psi — you will lose most of the dial and with it the resolution you need to diagnose anything.

HydraMaster does not state the connection thread, mounting style or whether the gauge is liquid filled in the parts lists we hold. If any of those matter for your installation, send us a photo of the fitted gauge and we will confirm before you order.

Reading it properly

Note what your machine reads at rest, at trigger and on by-pass while it is known good. That baseline is what makes the gauge useful later.

A needle that no longer returns to zero has been over-pressured or shocked. Replace it — an inaccurate gauge on a high-pressure machine will send you chasing faults that are not there.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit a Boxxer 318 (non-HP)?

The parts lists we hold name it for the 318HP and 323HP. The non-HP machines run lower pressure and are specified with a different gauge. Check your machine's data plate and ask us if you are unsure.

What thread is the connection?

Not stated in the documentation we hold. Send us a photo of what is fitted and we will confirm.

Is it liquid filled?

Not stated. Ask us if damping matters for your machine.

Can I fit a bigger dial for readability?

Only if the panel cut-out and the connection suit it. Measure before you order.

Send us your machine model and serial number and we will confirm the correct gauge range before you order — this is one part where getting the range wrong destroys the part.
