Important — This Fits the AR51H Only
It is the brush for the 14 inch Gekko Brush Head. It is not a replacement for any other Gekko head, and the other heads in the range do not carry a brush at all.
If you are not certain which head you have, tell us and we will confirm before you order.
When to Replace It
- The bristles have splayed and no longer stand up to the surface
- The result has gone uneven across the width of the head
- The bristle has gone soft or glazed from heat and chemistry
- Bristle is missing in patches
Splayed bristle polishes the surface rather than agitating it, and no amount of extra pressure brings the cut back.

Hydro-Force does not publish the bristle material or length for this brush. Rather than estimate them, we have left them out.
Operating Advice
- Rinse the brush at the end of every job. Soil dried into bristle does not come out later.
- Keep a spare on the truck. A brush that fails mid-job on a commercial floor costs a return visit.
- Replace on condition, not on hours.

How long does one last?
It depends entirely on the surface. Textured tile and unglazed porcelain wear bristle far faster than smooth glazed floors.
Is it the same brush as the SX-12 or SX-15 spinner brushes?
No. Those are different tools with their own parts. Tell us the tool and we will identify the right brush.
Can I clean it rather than replace it?
Rinsing extends its life. Once the bristle has splayed, cleaning will not restore it.

What We See in the Field
The Gekko range gets bought head by head over time, and the generation question is what catches people out — an old wand with a new head, or the reverse, bought months apart from different places. Check the generation before ordering rather than after.
The other pattern is pressure. Operators who are disappointed with a hard surface result are usually short on dwell time or running the wrong chemistry, and no amount of extra pressure at the tool makes up for either.
