We could not locate this part number in the Briggs & Stratton parts documentation we hold for the engines fitted to HydraMaster truckmounts (Mfg. No. 473177-0113-E1 on the Boxxer 427, and 356447-1239-G1 / Model Series 356400 on the Boxxer 318). That does not mean it does not fit them — it means we have not verified it, and we are not going to claim fitment we cannot stand behind.

If you are ordering for a machine you have not worked on before, read the engine label rather than assuming from the truckmount model. It takes a minute and it is the difference between the right part and a return.
Fitting advice
Work clean. A carburettor is a set of very small passages and a single piece of debris reproduces the fault you set out to repair.
Note the position of every jet, spring and linkage as it comes out, and photograph it.
Before rebuilding a carburettor, rule out the fuel supply — a blocked filter, a tired fuel pump or stale fuel produce the same symptoms and are cheaper to fix.
