The Wagner CFP405+ Rapid RH® L6 Concrete Flooring Professional Kit combines the C555 concrete moisture meter, an On-Demand Calibrator, an infrared (IR) thermometer and a Rapid RH L6 starter kit in a rugged hard-shell ABS carrying case. Wagner describes it as providing everything needed for fast, accurate moisture testing of concrete building materials.
How the Kit Works
The C555 Concrete Moisture Meter gives fast, non-destructive preliminary moisture measurements that help pinpoint problem areas and decide where to place Rapid RH L6 Smart Sensors.
The Rapid RH L6 Smart Sensors and Total Reader® give fast, accurate RH and temperature readings from both the concrete slab and the ambient air.
The improved protective caps completely cover the test hole and seal it with a butyl rubber gasket. The integral access cover pulls off for quick access to the Smart Sensor and snaps back on to seal out water and dirt.
The Smart Logger™ automatically records ambient RH and temperature on site while you are away. Download readings from the Smart Logger with the free DataMaster™ L6 app on any Bluetooth®-enabled mobile device.
Your smart device detects any Wagner Meters wireless device with Bluetooth connectivity, such as the Smart Logger or the Orion 950, and performs the pairing procedure automatically.
Each Smart Sensor pack comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate and is packed in tamper-resistant packaging, so you know the sensors are calibrated, genuine Wagner Smart Sensors.

About the Sensor
Rapid RH® L6 sensors use a customised version of Sensirion's SHT35 humidity sensor with a ±2% accuracy tolerance at 50% and 90% relative humidity (RH). Wagner states this puts the L6 concrete RH testing system in direct compliance with ASTM F2170, and that standard SHT35 humidity sensors used in other concrete RH test systems start to deviate from the ±2% tolerance at RH levels as low as 50%.
Survey First, Then Test
Pinless and electrical meters are survey tools: they show where the wettest areas are. The in-situ relative humidity test to ASTM F2170, done with Rapid RH L6 sensors, is the test flooring manufacturers generally ask for before timber, vinyl or other moisture-sensitive floors go down. Check the flooring and adhesive manufacturer's limits, and the Australian standard your specification calls up, before interpreting any result.
- Drill the test holes to the depth the standard requires for your slab and drying conditions, clean them with the brush and vacuum attachment, and insert the sensor to the bottom of the hole with the insertion tool.
- Seal each hole with its protective cap so the sensor reads the slab, not the room.
- Let the sensor equilibrate for the time the standard requires before taking the reading that goes in your report.
- Record ambient conditions at the same time. The Smart Loggers do this while you are off site.
CFP405 or WFP400?
The CFP405 pairs the Rapid RH L6 starter kit with the C555 concrete meter. The WFP400 pairs the same starter kit with the Orion 950 pinless timber meter, for installers who also need to test the timber. Extra sensors come in the Smart Sensor 25-pack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the C555 reading enough to clear a slab?
No. Wagner positions the C555 as a preliminary survey tool. Use it to find the wet areas, then place L6 sensors there for the in-situ RH test.
Why does the page title say CFP405?
This listing was previously titled WFP405. Wagner's concrete kit is the CFP405+; its wood flooring kits carry WFP numbers. The SKU WE880-R0CFP-406 matches Wagner's Celsius CFP405+ part number.
How many slabs can I test?
Five sensors are supplied. Sensors stay in the slab during the test, so buy the 25-pack if you run several tests at once.
