Why 75 per cent is the number that matters
The readings that decide something — a slab too wet for flooring, a structure not yet dry — sit at the upper end of the humidity range. A probe verified only at the low end has not been verified where the decisions get made.
Hygro-i2 probes are reusable, which means they accumulate history. Check them before a job where the result goes into a report, and after any job where they have been in an aggressive environment.
The SAL75 is included in the ASTM F2170 accessory pack for the CMEX2 and MRH3 and the pack for the CMEX5 and DL-RHTX.
