Important — check the connector before ordering
This pack contains the RHIE2 interface cable with the DIN connector, for the CMEX2 and MRH3. The AP-F2170-B pack contains the bayonet-connector RHIE2B cable for the CMEX5 and DL-RHTX. The packs are otherwise the same and the cables are not interchangeable.
What the test involves
Drill to the depth ASTM F2170 specifies for the slab, clear the hole, line it, cap it, and leave it to equilibrate before reading. The equilibration step is the one most often skipped, and skipping it is what produces a result that later turns out to be wrong.
