The brass strainer adapter for the Hydro-Force injection sprayer inlet. It is one of the three parts that make up the inlet filter assembly, alongside the Brass Strainer Body (NA0802) and the Mesh Strainer without Check Valve (NA0803).
The Inlet Assembly
All three parts are needed to make a working filter, and CCW stocks each of them separately so you can replace only what has failed:
- Brass Strainer Adapter (NA0804) — this part
- Mesh Strainer without Check Valve (NA0803) — the 100 mesh screen
- Brass Strainer Body (NA0802) — the body the screen sits in
In practice the screen is the consumable and the brass parts last, so most operators only ever reorder the strainer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need this if I already have the strainer body?
Only if the adapter itself is damaged. They are separate parts and either can be replaced on its own.
Is the thread NPT or BSP?
The manufacturer does not publish the thread form for this part. It is an American-sourced sprayer so NPT is the reasonable expectation, but we are not going to state it as fact. Contact us before ordering if you are adapting it to something else.
What holds the whole assembly together?
The adapter and body thread together with the screen captured between them. There is no separate retaining part.

What We See in the Field
This little adapter is easy to blame for leaks that are really coming from the strainer body, seal or damaged thread around it. When rebuilding the inlet side, clean the mating surfaces and start the threads by hand — cross-threading a small brass adapter into a more expensive body is an avoidable repair.
