Mytee B117 strainer with check valve for the chemical injector. It sits on the end of the injector pick-up line in the chemical bottle.
Two Jobs in One Part
The strainer keeps debris out of the injector, and the check valve stops solution running back the wrong way through the chemical circuit. When it fails you get either inconsistent chemical draw or none at all.

Symptom That Gets Misread
Weak chemical delivery usually gets treated as a chemistry problem, so the operator increases the concentration. That masks it and costs more in chemical than the part does. If the results changed suddenly rather than gradually, look at the injector.
