Replacement Grey Battery Door for a SpeedClean Coiljet.
The door that closes the battery compartment on the CoilJet, protecting the sealed lead acid battery and its terminals from chemical mist and water.
Why the plastics matter on a chemical machine
Every one of these parts is what stands between coil cleaning chemistry and either the electrics or the operator. A cracked cap lets concentrate slop out in the van; a missing battery door lets chemical mist reach the terminals. Neither looks urgent and both end in a machine that is written off rather than repaired.

Changing the battery (SpeedClean manual)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Remove the battery door by pulling it up.
- Lift the battery out carefully and disconnect the terminal connectors.
- Connect the fresh battery: black wire to the negative (black) terminal, red wire to the positive (red) terminal.
- Put the battery back in the compartment and refit the door.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run the machine without the door?
It will run, but the battery and terminals are then open to spray and chemical mist. SpeedClean also warns against spraying the unit with water or chemicals.
The battery keeps going flat. Is it the door?
Unlikely. Check the battery voltage (11 to 14 V when charged) and the charger output (12 to 14 V), as SpeedClean suggests, and look for corrosion on the terminals.
