PowerShot UHT is a concentrated blend of solvents, surfactants and builders designed to make fast work of the toughest traffic lanes, commercial carpets and synthetic upholstery fabrics.
Product code RP205300-4L. pH 10.2 to 10.8.
Features
- Designed to work quickly at emulsifying oily soils on oil-loving polypropylene carpets, using free-rinsing, fast-evaporating solvents that do not contribute to re-soiling.
- pH in dilution 10.5, which Razorback states means it is safe to use on advanced-generation nylon carpets and fabrics.
- Contains no optical brighteners or toxic solvents. Razorback states it conforms to AS/NZS 3733:1995 and IICRC S001.
- UHT: Ultra High-Temperature formulation for use with high-performance truck-mounted and portable extraction machines.
- Economical to use: dilute at 32:1. Razorback states 1 litre of concentrate will clean up to 320 square metres of carpet.
- Fresh mint fragrance.
Directions for use
- Vacuum the area to be cleaned thoroughly before any cleaning process.
- Pre-test in an inconspicuous area for colourfastness.
- Mix PowerShot UHT with HOT water at a rate of 32:1 (rates below).
- Prespray over the area to be cleaned, agitate, let dwell for 5 to 10 minutes and extract. For heavily soiled carpets use a heavier application of prespray. Do not allow prespray to dry before extracting.
- For best results follow the standard carpet cleaning practices outlined in AS/NZS 3733:1995 and IICRC S001.

| Method | Rate |
|---|---|
| Pump-up sprayer | 240 ml of concentrate per 8 litres of HOT water |
| In-line sprayer, yellow tip (8:1) | 1.2 litres of concentrate, then fill the container with warm water |
| In-line sprayer, brown tip (32:1) | Use neat |
| Upholstery (synthetic fibre) | 16:1 |
| Booster | Compatible with CitraBoost and OxyBoost. Use as directed. |
Note: the in-line yellow-tip rate here is 1.2 litres; HotShot UHT uses 1.3 litres. Both figures are as published by Razorback.
Where PowerShot UHT fits
PowerShot UHT is the higher-pH option for synthetics, commercial carpet and oily soil on polypropylene. On wool and delicate fibres use the neutral HotShot UHT (pH 7.5) instead. Finish with an acid rinse such as e-Rinse EFR to neutralise alkaline residue.
