Razorback SnapShot Extra LMC Encapsulation & Bonnet Cleaner 4 Ltr

Regular price $47.19

SKU:RP198000-4L

SnapShot Extra is a double-strength, concentrated bonnet or brush encapsulation cleaner. It suspends soils for absorption into a bonnet or, when drying, into a hardened crystal residue which is easily removed by vacuuming.

Product code RP198000-4L. pH 8.0.

Features

  • Razorback describes it as a complete soil encapsulator that removes stains that would normally require spotting prior to shampooing.
  • Contains an advanced fluorochemical protection polymer that ensures easier soil removal, retards future soiling and replenishes stain resistance.
  • Brightens hard-to-clean synthetic carpet fibres and wool without the use of optical brighteners or toxic solvents.
  • Quick-drying formula: Razorback states carpet can be walked on minutes after cleaning.
  • Can be used on upholstery and as an all-purpose spotter.

Safe to use with a cylindrical counter-rotating brush, rotary brush or bonnet, oscillating or orbital agitation machines, and for use as a HOT water extraction prespray or emulsifier.

Directions for use

  1. Vacuum the area to be cleaned thoroughly before any cleaning process.
  2. Pre-test in an inconspicuous area for colourfastness.
  3. Mix SnapShot Extra with HOT water at a rate of 32:1 (rates below).

Mixing rates

Upholstery or all-purpose spotter 8:1

Brush and vacuum application

Spray solution consistently over a section of carpet and brush in with a rotary or counter-rotating brush machine such as the Razorback CRB-15. It can also be applied with gravity-feed tanks. Let dry overnight and extract encapsulated soil with a vacuum. For heavy soil consider bonneting while the carpet is damp.

Bonnet cleaning application

Spray solution lightly over an absorbent bonnet and then spray consistently over a section of carpet. Place the bonnet under a rotary machine and move over the area until clean. Change bonnets frequently as they become soiled. Place soiled bonnets in a plastic bag to keep them moist until laundered.

What encapsulation is, and is not

Encapsulation is a low-moisture maintenance method. It suits commercial carpet on a regular programme, where dry times matter and soil is kept under control. It does not flush soil out of the backing the way hot-water extraction does, so heavily soiled or contaminated carpet, and anything with urine or flood water, needs extraction.
